About GOLF-TRAK
On a peak day, there are 70 to 80 players playing on the golf course. The Golf Course Manager physically monitors the players to identify if a group of players is slowing down the movement of players behind them. A lot of time is wasted before the manager can intervene and address the slow progress of the game.
PoP monitors the hole-to-hole time of individual groups and alerts the manager about the game slowing down. They can take prompt corrective action and ensure the pace of play is maintained. The system will provide a control panel in the manager’s office to get a bird’s eye view of the position of different groups of players on the golf course.
Admin View (Live Dashboard)The admin will have a Control Panel View on a big screen. On the click of a button, the admin can see the location of all the Four golfers or the Carts that have been issued the device. The Control Panel shows the Location of each Player on the Course and Slow Playing Groups can be identified. The Admin can Identify Slow Groups as well as Bottlenecks causing slow play and take corrective measures to provide members/players a more wholesome playing experience. Slow Groups can be cautioned and On-Time Groups rewarded.
Management Information Service (MIS)Hole Statistics is Time taken for each Hole, Front 9, Back 9 and the complete round is logged for EACH Group for every round played and available for review.
One of the major operating costs of any Golf Course is the maintenance of the Playing Turf. The maintenance entails watering, trimming and replanting. It is the replanting, which is the largest amongst these three cost heads. It involves clearing the area of dead grass, killing the weeds with pesticides, clearing the debris and waiting for a few days before seeding and watering. Although, the golf course grass is resilient to occasional walk-ons, the major reason of damaging the grass is riding the Carts on the Playing Turf.
Golf-TrakIt is a device which is linked to a web - based software and built/hooked onto the Golf Cart which alerts the Rider, escalates it to the Green-Keeper, Golf course manager or the Golf Course Marshal on the number of times the Golfer violates the rules and drives on areas that are off-limits. Historical data is available (on Google Maps) for easy recall with a timestamp and the extent of deviations.
Deviation
The admin will get an alert as and when a player deviates. The cart also has an Audio – Visual alarm that goes ON and OFF whenever a cart deviates or returns to the path way.
Control Panel (Live Dashboard)The admin will have a Control Panel View on a big screen, On the click of a button, the admin can see the location of carts on the golf course. The admin will be able to see in real - time which carts have deviated, how many times the cart has deviated and how long was the deviation.
Management Information Service (MIS)
The Admin can select to view all the deviation violations of a player today or anytime in the Past. The information will show in tabular format Date, Cart Number (Player Name), Deviation, Hole Number (where deviations occurred) and duration of deviations.
